In response to restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created a way for you to complete an online version of our level one training.
STEP ONE:
Register online to view a three-video filmed series of our basic training concepts. In this film, you will learn some of the basic principles of the STAR-T curriculum. You will learn about secondary trauma, its impact on human service workers and how to engage the power of resiliency. In order to get the private link to this online training, please complete the demographic attached. CEU credits are available upon request. Visit our registration page to sign up and get the video links.
STEP TWO:
You can finish your level one training through further pre-recorded videos (available soon).
You also have the option to complete your training via live Zoom Pro group trainings. These live-facilitated trainings focus on practicing and building resiliency skills. These sessions are facilitated by Andrew Laue and are suitable for between 6 to 20 participants. It is most effective if you attend these practice sessions with workers you are affiliated with in your team settings.
We will create a live, online practice group and build skills that are focused on the two main categories of resiliency from the Toolbox of Resiliency. The first is the CONNECTION skills practice session which focuses on building attachment-engaged skills for your teams and work settings to create a resilient work environment. The second is the AWARENESS skills which focus on building a strong sense of awareness through interpersonal neurobiology and embodiment.
These practice sessions are scheduled for 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the needs and size of the training group. To schedule these follow up practice sessions, please contact us through this link.
